Bands 2027

Gehennah

For over three decades, Sweden’s Gehennah have been raising hell – raw, filthy, and without wasting a single thought on chasing a modern sound. Formed in the early ’90s as a Venom cover band, they soon developed a style of their own, somewhere between Black Metal, Thrash, Speed Metal and dirty Rock ’n’ Roll.
Gehennah are all about uncompromising Metal attitude – no explanations needed, just crank the amps up to 11! Think Venom meets Motörhead, topped off with a heavy dose of Swedish underground spirit.
After calling it quits in 2008, Gehennah returned in 2011 and have been going strong ever since, proving one thing: some bands don’t get older – they just get more dangerous.

Still somewhat under the radar in Germany, The Riven are easily one of the best retro rock bands around right now with female vocals. They’ve been going strong for ten years and have released no fewer than three albums, all packed with a killer mix of energetic ’70s rock and a healthy dose of NWOBHM influence.

Whipstriker

Keine Hochglanzproduktion. Keine Kompromisse. Einfach Nur Heavy Metal. Punkt.

Straight from the streets of Rio de Janeiro comes a band that still plays metal the way it’s meant to be played: fast, dirty and uncompromising!
Since 2008, Whipstriker have been delivering a vicious mix of Heavy, Speed and Black Metal, with a heavy dose of Punk thrown in — inspired by the old-school sound of Venom, Motörhead and Tank. Raw, rebellious and stripped of all unnecessary bullshit.
With their latest album, “Cry of Extinction”, the Brazilians prove once again that speed, grit and pure Metal attitude can make for one hell of an explosive mix.
No polished production. No compromises. Just Heavy Metal. Period
